Subject Re: [Firebird-Architect] Literal strings and quotes

People,

For the sake of God, can you read the proposal?

We're talking about string ****literals****. If a string has quote, a
curly, or any other shit, it's ********visible******** there.

So the guy (and we suppose it has a brain, that's an indispensable part
of the proposal!!!) can see it, can change the character for start/end.

If the string has all the characters of the world, yes, the guy will
have a problem.

PS: Yes, FB does not have packages, DDL triggers, window functions,
alternate quote syntax, Java and C++ external routines, a better
internal architecture, ALTER TABLE ... NOT NULL, etc. It does not have,
because many people like to discuss things in circle, while a few like
to work and do things. And I just feel bad that it will probably never have.

But there is a fork that have. BTW, something locked and closed, that
nobody can see what's being done, nobody can review, nobody can test.
And I feel I'm going to be banned from this list, because I talk about a
FB competitor.
