Roman,
and Ensemble? No new research, just what you remember from 5-6 years
ago. Obviously JGroups is Java, Spread is C and Ensemble is OCaml and
the range of features in the API differs. Beyond that, major
differences in the algorithms used? Major differences in speed,
throughput and code size? Do all use UDP/IP as basic transport?
Am I missing popular choices with the above three?
