I think the OP is talking about some kind of protection so the database
could not be accessed by other people, and we all know that anyone who
knows SYSDBA password could access any database on the server, so it's
easy to move it to a server where you have the SYSDBA password.

This is an old request, and the way to protect a database is to ensure
OS level protection and physical protection.

I think the OP is talking about some kind of database encryption, what
is a known feature request, and as said a lot of times by the firebird
developers, the problem is not the encryption bot the key management
infrastructure.
