I think the two schemes (with ExternalContext) and with DPB/TPB using
TLS in the engine should be available.

First one allows us to have non-TLS (from engine POV) connections in the
future, and the latter allows the use of the current API.

TPB/DPB approach may be made without TLS, passing handle values as
clumplets for example, but I think this should not be necessary.
