As I said in a different post, I can't possibly counter that. If the
requirement is that "Adriano likes it", then just propose anything and
it will be perfect. :-)

IS is also used for IS NULL and IS [NOT] DISTINCT FROM. I.e. it is
mainly used for testing, not binding.
