Yes, but FB should be small, smart RDBMS. Not engine with 2*10^6 functions
with 3*10^6 overrides.

Yes, now you can use some 3-rd party libs. BTW if you can contribute, you
can create some functions and send it to core developers, to add it into the
sources. ;)
