Active or all providers - it doesn't matter, a provider should know whether
its active or not :-) As for the nodePath, I consider fb_engine_info()
mostly a backend for the SAPI and I don't see much value in calling it as a
separate API call. But I have no serious objections to the nodePath argument
either, provided that the services manager will always pass NULL there :-)
