I believe Kylix and Delphi have functions to generate
GUIDs. So I'll be using my dev tool library to
generate the GUIDs so they should be unique across
systems. That should make it cross-platform capable.
:-) I agree with you that you shouldn't mix and match
the GUID generating libraries.
