It's really a one-liner, like:

0 3 * * * /opt/firebird/bin/gbak -b db /backup/`date +%F`/db.fbk

but I do see your point. I wouldn't have to remember to add that line to
cron for each instalation.

Well, I guess it's just another step closer to zero-setup instalation. I
won't mind having it as long as it can be turned off :)
