The main show-stopper is an agreement on the API for external
procedures (current version uses ISC API, while Jim Starkey argues
about IscDsc API). I think this will be resolved during the FB/Vulcan
merge, so FB 3.0 is quite likely to have it.

In the mean time, Fyracle 0.8.9 will have support for Java SPs, so you
can consider using Fyracle until FB 3.0 is released.
