IMHO the solution to this problem is known as "kill file", or more
politely "ignore list" or "mail filtering rules".

The advantages of a killfile over just another list is, that
everybody can decide himself, whether to read also postings of
those who haven't got a complete understanding of the engine's
code but want to to contribute an opinion.

Of course I understand by now, that const-correctness is
a completely different subject when applied to DBMS engines
and any advice on this issue by contributors from other
fields are not welcome. Ahem.
