As you may gather - nothing doing yet

I'm doing this via PHP. You need something to actually use the XML, and
PHP provides a means of accessing XML from other sites, which can be
either treated as an inquiry and answered with the correct XML packet
built from normal Firebird SQL or converted to SQL for storage.

Given that the XML Schema's I'm required to use for UK eGov are so
contorted that they do not actually form a 'real' SQL inquiry, I would
not anticipate even the engines you have quoted producing sensible
results for them any time soon ;) It seems to be a matter at the moment
of "What do you expect to happen?"
