gizmo that relators put on houses. Firebird provides the default
security plugin to scramble the source and blr of procedures.
That code provides hooks for a custom piece of code created by
the application developer that actually produces the key. The
custom code is not open source, so would require reverse engineering
rather than simple cvs access to break.
