I haven't thought of this option. Given this restriction I surely can
safely use header clumplets to store difference file name. This is why
I like to discuss things in fb-devel and ib-architect. Combined wisdom
of gurus living there makes elegant solutions to all problems. :)

The best thing is that what I described already works at least on
Linux CS. Other platforms are not tested yet. Now I'm finalizing
first version of incremental backup utility.

This is a matter of 30 minutes work to add DPB parameter for
difference file name and allow auto-creation of difference file
if it was specified via DPB parameter. Hey folks, do you need
this feature ?
