connectivity, it is not a Firebird sub-project.
IBX still supports Firebird v1.0 and v1.5.
Unfortunately, it has been publicly announced that no effort will be
made to support any future Firebird 'incompatibilities'.
Fortunately, there are at least 3 other toolsets which provide
Delphi/BCB/Kylix(?) support for Firebird:
- IBObjects
- FIBPlus
- Firebird Express (dbExpress driver)
