Hi
Firstly read the documentation.
Its readily available and fairly easy to understand.
The specific volume would be the Operations Guide
Secondly this is the wrong list rather ask at
ib-support@yahoogroups.com
Thirdly here is my typical backup string.
gbak -b -t -v -user sysdba -pas masterkey D:\LocalDB\BodyTrak3.fdb
D:\LocalDB\Backup\BodyTrak3.gbk
I am not sure what each switch does, you will find that in the
documentation.
This backup creates a transportable database with garbage collection.
