Ah, how easy to deal for the developer. The script program won't have to
care about previous instance's existence. It doesn't seem hard to implement
and may be a thing that makes people happy (except JAS, probably).

That was my first suggestion, but those people found that the only
guaranteed cure was to disconnect and reconnect. I'm trying to convince one
of the developers to post an example; I don't know how to reach the second
person.
