Well, looks good so far. Of course, all I've done is create a DSN and
connect to an existing table to browse the data. I did add a record too.

It's nice to have a solution finally. Thanks EasySoft.

I look forward to trying the IBPhoenix version, too. Always better to have
multiple options...

Subject: [IB-Architect] ODBC Driver

Hi,

As promised, the first beta of our IB6 driver is ready.

At the moment its available for Windows only, I will be

making a Linux intel build in the next couple of days.

I will look at other platforms as people let mw know

what they are using.

Remember this is a first beta, so expect things

to go wrong. Any comments or problems should be directed

at me (nick@...) for the time being, including

as much detail as possible, at least application,

error message, and if possible a ODBC trace leading up to

the error.

At the moment, the driver does not support the following functions :-

SQLBROWSECONNECT
SQLCOLUMNPRIVILEGES
SQLFOREIGNKEYS
SQLGETDESCFIELD
SQLGETDESCREC
SQLNATIVESQL
SQLPROCEDURES
SQLPROCEDURECOLUMNS
SQLPRIMARYKEYS
SQLSETDESCFIELD
SQLSETDESCREC
SQLSETPOS
SQLTABLEPRIVILEGES

I will be adding these over the next few days as time permits.

The driver can be found at
