That's really excellent news.

I wonder if it would be possible for me to port the existing GDS32.DLL to
Delphi?

Perhaps I should start a new thread to discuss what all it would take. This
would greatly benefit both IBO and IBX if we could collaborate on a totally
native client solution. (Especially in the Kylix arena) Thus, it should be
possible to have a self installing client...
